This store is owned by the Smith family. The first liquor store owned by our family was Park Plaza Liquor Store, opened by Richard Smith Sr. in 1968. Richard Smith III took over this business in 1972 and subsequently owned: Mr. Whiskey, Gabes Tower Liquors, House of Firewater and Iron Horse Liquors. When Richard III died, his daughter, Nicole, agreed to take over the business and loves it!  She is customer oriented. If you have any kind of event to plan, she can suggest products and quantities to purchase for the size of your crowd that are sure to please. If you need a local bartender, she can put you in touch.
